Job Summary
Interventional Radiology Nurse Location: Not Specified. This position involves providing comprehensive nursing care for patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures within a healthcare facility. The role emphasizes assessment, planning, implementing, evaluating, and documenting nursing care in accordance with organizational policies and professional standards.

Job Details

Position Description: This role requires the assessment, planning, and delivery of nursing care to patients in an interventional radiology setting. The nurse will review patient history, diagnostics, and laboratory data, and develop individualized care plans focusing on patient safety and outcomes. Responsibilities include administering physician-ordered treatments, delegating tasks appropriately, and participating in continuous quality improvement activities.
Required Qualifications: Current, valid RN license in the state of practice, BLS certification, and at least two years of experience in interventional radiology or a related acute care setting. Knowledge and skills in performing radiology procedures and patient monitoring are essential.
Schedule: Night shifts, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, with overnight coverage from 7:30 PM to 7:30 AM, including weekends and call nights. Flexibility to float to South Campus based on staffing needs.
Additional Information: Experience in MRI and prior travel experience are preferred. Candidate must be aware of the requirement to work night shifts, weekends, and potentially float to different campuses based on staffing needs.
