Job Summary

Registered Nurse, Medical-Surgical Orthopedic Floor, Paris, TX. The position provides nursing care for adult and pediatric orthopedic patients in an inpatient setting. Responsibilities include supporting orthopedic treatments, monitoring patient conditions, and delivering safe, quality-focused care.

Job Details

Required Qualifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications required before the start date; at least 2 years of nursing experience; medical-surgical experience required.
Preferred Qualifications: Orthopedic nursing experience preferred.
Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week; every other weekend.
Float: Float rotation may be required.
Additional Information: The role supports an 18-bed orthopedic inpatient unit serving adult and pediatric patients with a typical patient ratio of 5:1. Relevant equipment includes traction. Black scrubs are required. Orientation occurs weekly on Mondays.
