Job Summary

Registered Nurse, Operating Room. This position provides perioperative nursing care in an operating room setting, including circulating and scrubbing responsibilities. The role follows a day shift schedule and requires current nursing licensure and essential life support certification.

Job Details

• Schedule: Day shift, 10-hour shifts, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications:
  • One year of recent full-time equivalent experience within the last three years.
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
  • Registered Nurse license in the state where care is provided.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in nursing or a related field, either completed or in progress.
  • Three to five years of operating room circulating and scrubbing experience.
  • Certified Registered Nurse Operating Room (CNOR) certification.
  • Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
  • Preoperative area skills.
  • Intravenous (IV) start skills.
• Additional Information:
  • Responsibilities include operating room circulating and scrubbing.
  • Preoperative area experience is valued.
  • Intravenous access initiation skills are valued.
