Job Summary
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Nurse Nights with experience in high-acuity surgical step-down units. This position involves providing specialized care for patients requiring vigilant monitoring and management of complex clinical needs. The role offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on critical patient care.

Job Details

• Position Description: 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM shift, including every other weekend. Candidates must be available to work during Thanksgiving and one other winter holiday.
• Required Qualifications: Valid professional license, BLS certification, minimum of 1 year of experience in a high-acuity surgical step-down environment.
• Specialty: Progressive Care Unit (PCU) focusing on patients requiring high-level monitoring and intervention.
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Unit 2 East is a high acuity, fast-paced surgical step-down unit. Nurses will be responsible for managing devices such as chest tubes, arterial lines, PICC and central lines, ostomies, trachs, NG tubes, wound vacs, drains, and IV infusions including Heparin, Insulin, Nitro, Amiodarone, and Cardizem.
