Job Summary
Medical Surgical Floor Nurse, Wausau, WI This position involves providing high-quality nursing care within the Medical and Pediatrics (MAP) unit of the healthcare provider's facility. The role requires working 12-hour night shifts, with responsibilities including managing adult and pediatric patients, primarily treating conditions such as respiratory illnesses, stroke, neurological conditions, gastrointestinal issues, diabetic management, renal failure, and infectious diseases.

Job Details

• Position: MAP RN Medical Surgical Floor
• Location: Wausau, WI
• Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: WI RN License, BLS, and PALS certifications; minimum of 2 years of clinical experience; trauma level II experience highly preferred; pediatric experience is required; charting experience with EPIC; associate degree or certificate required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Additional Qualifications: Experience with adult and pediatric patient management; resilience, ability to manage change, strong communication skills, and flexibility preferred.
• Responsibilities: Providing patient-centered care, managing adult and pediatric patients with various diagnoses, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams, and documenting care accurately in EPIC electronic health records.
