Job Summary
Operating Room Pediatrics (OR PEDS) RN Milwaukee, WI. This position involves providing circulating nursing care in a pediatric operating room setting. The role includes working rotating 10-hour shifts with guaranteed hours, supporting various pediatric surgical procedures, and potentially assisting in other units if needed.
Job Details
- Certifications: AHA Basic Life Support (BLS), Unencumbered Wisconsin or Compact Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Education Requirements: Associate Degree or Certificate, with preferred Bachelors Degree.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years OR experience required, with pediatric experience essential.
- Location Requirements: Must hold unencumbered Wisconsin or Compact RN license.
- Years of Experience: 3 years minimum.
- Schedule: Rotating shifts, 10 hours per shift, working 40 hours per week.
- Responsibilities include circulating in an Pediatric Operating Room, supporting multiple surgical disciplines such as ENT, orthopedics, urology, general surgery, craniofacial/plastics, neuro, and ophthalmology.
- Flexibility to cover holidays, weekends, and potential in-house on-call shifts may be required.
- Precepting may be required during the assignment; this responsibility is included in the overall compensation package.
