Description
Job Summary:
Step Down Unit Nurse in the specialty of Step Down will provide care in a healthcare facility environment. The position involves delivering quality nursing services within the designated unit, ensuring patient safety and adherence to clinical protocols.
Job Details:
- Position Description: Responsible for providing patient care in a step down unit, monitoring cardiac rhythms, administering medications, and collaborating with the healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Required Qualifications: 1-year recent (within the last 3 years) full-time equivalent experience; graduate of an accredited nursing program; valid Registered Nurse license in the state where care is provided; Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS).
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per day, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Candidates must be available to start on 11/03/2026 and remain engaged through 02/06/2027. Experience in cardiac rhythm recognition is preferred.
