Description

Job Summary

Registered Nurse Emergency Room. Provides immediate, critical care to patients with acute injuries or illnesses in a high-stress, fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include rapid assessment, triage, patient stabilization, treatment administration, and assistance during clinical interventions.

Job Details

Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, 36 hours per week.
Required Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of Registered Nurse emergency room experience; current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA); Michigan nursing license.
Preferred Qualifications: Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) and Emergency Nurses Pediatric Course (ENPC) documentation.
Responsibilities: Perform rapid patient assessments and triage; stabilize patients with acute injuries or illnesses; administer treatments; and assist physicians during interventions.
Additional Information: Grey scrubs are required. A nursing specialty skills checklist completed within one year of application is required. Weekend coverage is required.
