Telemetry Nurse (Tele) Kansas City, MO
This position involves providing specialized care to cardiac telemetry patients within a hospital setting. The role requires expertise in interpreting EKGs and telemetry strips, as well as managing post-cardiac procedures. The assignment is scheduled to start on November 30, 2026, and will end on March 1, 2027, with a schedule of night shifts totaling 36 hours per week.

Job Details

• Certifications and Qualifications: Must possess American Heart Association (AHA) approved Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications. No minimum experience required (0.0 years).
• Position: Telemetry Nurse
• Location: Kansas City, MO
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, minimum 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Cardiac Telemetry or Progressive Care Unit (PCU)/Intensive Care Unit (ICU) experience, read and interpret EKGs and telemetry strips, experience with post-cardiac procedural care (e.g., ablations, cardiac catheterizations, post-operative open heart, permanent pacemaker placements), administration and titration of IV medications such as insulin, Cardizem, Cardene, and Amiodarone.
• Additional Responsibilities: Respond appropriately to patient needs, perform IV insertions, NGT placement and maintenance, chest tube management, temporary pacemaker care, Foley insertions.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Imobile in the clinical setting.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Submission Requirements: Candidates should demonstrate competency in telemetry and cardiac care.
