Job Summary

Registered Nurse, Cardiac Cath Lab. The organization is seeking a seasoned cardiac catheterization laboratory nurse with recent electrophysiology experience, including device implants and ablations. The role supports procedural care, staff development, and cases involving adult cardiac patients and structural heart procedures.

Job Details

• Schedule: Day shift, four 10-hour shifts per week, totaling 40 hours per week. Monday through Friday, with weekends and holidays only when assigned to call.
• Required Qualifications:
  • Registered Nurse with a minimum of 3 years of experience.
  • Recent electrophysiology experience, including device implants and ablations.
  • Cardiac catheterization laboratory experience.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Skills in circulating, scrubbing, hemodynamic monitoring, and insertion of intra-arterial and venous catheters during electrophysiology procedures.
• Additional Information:
  • Nurses scrub cases and provide conscious sedation.
  • Supports adult patients with coronary artery disease, pacemakers, and structural heart procedures in a hybrid operating room.
  • Call coverage totals 912 assignments per month, including weeknight, weekend, and holiday call.
  • Call response time is 30 minutes.
  • Self-scheduling is available.
  • Department-specific orientation typically consists of 4 days.
  • Scrubs are provided in-house.
