Job Summary
Progressive Care Unit (PCU) registered nurses are needed at a healthcare provider in the region. This role involves providing specialized patient care for individuals requiring a higher level of monitoring and treatment, with a focus on arterial lines, chest tubes, and post cardiac catheterization care. The position includes working night shifts on a rotating schedule to support patient needs.

Job Details

• Location: Region (no specific facility name provided)
• Shift: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Certifications, Education, and Experience: Valid ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support) certifications, NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS), and a minimum of 2 years of stepdown/Intermediate Medical Care (IMC) level of care experience with arterial lines, chest tubes, and post cardiac catheterization care.
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours, minimum 36 hours per week
• Additional Information: Experience with managing Gtts such as insulin, amiodarone, cardizem, cardene, and neosynephrine required. Ability to float to Medical Surgical (MS) or MS telemetry units is possible. The unit typically works every other weekend and holiday shifts, with the ability to float to other units as needed.
