Job Summary
The organization is seeking an ICU (Intensive Care Unit) Registered Nurse (RN) in a moderate-size ICU setting. This role involves providing specialized care to neuro/Stroke, neurosurgical, and medical patients, with an emphasis on neuro experience. The position offers an opportunity to work in a dynamic environment with shared responsibilities, including managing ventilators and titratable drips, in a 24/7 intensivist-supported unit.

Job Details

• Position: ICU (Intensive Care Unit) RN
• Location: Not specified (facility setting only generic term used)
• Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS; required for certification submission
• Education & Experience: Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience required, with at least 1 year of specific neuro experience preferred
• Shift: Nights, 12 hours shift, minimum 36 hours per week, starting 11/09/2026 and ending 02/01/2027
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, 2 years ICU experience, neuro experience, ability to work nights shifts, charting in EPIC electronic medical records system, ability to read telemetry monitors
• Responsibilities include: Managing ventilators, titrating drips including pressors and sedatives, troubleshooting RT equipment, reading telemetry strips, and documenting patient care in EPIC
• Schedule: Self-scheduling with accommodation attempts, weekends required (6 per 6 weeks), holidays (3 winter, 3 summer), floating may be required with all shifts and holidays
