Job Summary

Progressive Care Unit in Tomball, Texas, provides care for patients requiring an intermediate level of monitoring and treatment. The position supports a 34-bed unit and requires clinical competence in advanced cardiac life support, basic life support, and the National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale. The schedule consists of 12-hour night shifts.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS), and at least 1 year of experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of non-titratable drips, including amiodarone and Cardizem, and tracheostomy care.
• Schedule: Night shifts consisting of 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: The position supports a 34-bed Progressive Care Unit with a typical patient ratio of 1:4. Four weekend shifts are required per schedule. Royal blue scrubs are required. Clinical responsibilities may include caring for patients receiving non-titratable drips and tracheostomy care.
