Job Summary
Telemtry (RN) Nights Location: Unknown. This role involves providing hands-on nursing care within the scope of practice of the California Nursing Practice Act, regulatory requirements, and hospital policies. The Clinical Nurse (CN) will assess, interpret data, plan, implement, evaluate care, and collaborate with a healthcare team to deliver holistic, family-centered care while ensuring professional development and adherence to certification requirements.
Job Details
- Education and Certifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or university preferred. Current American Heart Association Certification for Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers. CA-RN (Registered Nurse) license required.
- Experience: 0 years of experience minimum.
- Position Description: The Clinical Nurse is responsible for delivering evidence-based patient care, fostering a healing environment, managing discomforts, providing emotional support, and engaging in patient and family education. The role requires rapid problem-solving, emergency protocol activation, and contributing to continuous improvement in patient safety and care.
- Schedule: Nights shift, 12-hour shift, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: The Clinical Nurse partners with patients, families, and healthcare teams to develop individualized care plans, continuously evaluates interventions, and maintains current knowledge through professional growth activities. The role emphasizes effective communication, leadership, team participation, and adherence to standards and regulations.
