Operating Room (OR) Open Heart Nurse specializing in Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) at a healthcare provider location. This position involves providing specialized perioperative care for cardiac surgery patients, including open heart procedures. Schedule: Nights, 10-hour shift, 40 hours per week

End Date: 02/07/2027
Required Qualifications: RN license, Certification in operating room nursing or cardiovascular specialties, Bachelors degree in Nursing or equivalent, Location in Pennsylvania or nearby, 1 year of relevant experience
Preferred Qualifications: Experience in open heart or cardiovascular surgery
Schedule: Nights, 10 hours, 40 hours weekly
Submission Requirements: Candidates must respond to offers with acceptance or decline within 48 hours; offers will be withdrawn if not responded to in time. Time off will not be added or altered once an offer is accepted.
Additional Information: Flu and COVID vaccine required, with medical or religious declinations accepted. Candidates within 50 miles of the location will be considered for a lower rate.

Traveler friendly, good support, free parking, good coffee shop. 45 min lunch, plus 15min am & pm breaks. Lots of time-outs/safety stops (which I love). Never feels unsafe.

Cons

Low rate for local travelers. Ortho is given regular block time on weekends, so the 1st call team is always being used.
