Job Summary

Registered Nurse, Progressive Care Unit. The role provides individualized, age-specific nursing care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation while promoting safe, therapeutic, and quality patient outcomes. The position collaborates with patients, families, and the healthcare team to support education, advocacy, care coordination, and progress toward individualized goals.

Job Details

• Schedule: Day shifts, 12 hours per shift, 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications:
  • California Registered Nurse license
  • CPR, Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and NIH certifications
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN)
  • At least three years of recent Registered Nurse experience, including at least two years of recent experience in a specialty area
• Additional Information:
  • Assignment dates are 12/07/2026 through 03/06/2027.
  • Provides individualized patient and family care using the nursing process.
  • Develops, implements, and evaluates comprehensive plans of care.
  • Identifies patient and family needs, educational requirements, and barriers to communication.
  • Coordinates care with healthcare team members and ancillary staff.
  • Delegates care within team members scope of practice and competency.
  • Advocates for patient and family participation in care decisions and upholds individual and family rights.
  • Documents assessments, interventions, care coordination, patient responses, and progress toward goals.
