Job Summary
Registered Nurse, Medical Surgical Floor, Denton, Texas. This travel assignment supports a medical-surgical nursing role on a hospital-based unit caring for acute-care patients. The position requires a collaborative team member who is willing to ask questions and adapt to unit processes.
Job Details
- Required Qualifications: Previous medical-surgical nursing experience in an acute-care setting; minimum of 1 year of experience.
- Preferred Qualifications: Meditech experience.
- Schedule: Night shifts consisting of 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Patient assignments typically include 1 nurse to 56 patients during the day and 1 nurse to 6 patients at night. The unit performs various surgical procedures, excluding cardiac and open neurological surgery. Self-scheduling is permitted within the requirements of a balanced schedule, and rotating weekends are required. Royal blue scrubs are required.
