Job Summary
Medical Surgical Oncology Floor Nurse - MS ONC - Location not specified. This position involves assessing, planning, and delivering nursing care to oncology patients in a medical surgical setting. It requires applying specialized knowledge and clinical skills to ensure high-quality patient outcomes consistent with professional standards.
Job Details
- Position Description: Assesses patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural and discharge planning needs. Reviews patient history and physical with patient/family, and completes assessments and reassessments.
- Qualifications: Must possess a current, valid RN license in state of practice, or a temporary/interim RN license, or compact RN licensure for current state of practice. BLS certification is required. Experience in clinical areas relevant to this role, including acute care or physician practice, with a minimum of one year in the past 12 months.
- Schedule: Days shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: PCU experience; Oncology training/experience and chemotherapy certification; Does not allow for religious exemptions for COVID at the healthcare organization.
