Job Summary

Operating Room (OR) position supporting general surgical services in a high-acuity trauma environment. The position requires independent practice across multiple surgical specialties, including robotics, orthopedics, general, gynecologic, urologic, bariatric, otolaryngology, plastics, vascular, thoracic, and trauma procedures. Proficiency with da Vinci Xi and da Vinci 5 robotic systems is required.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Minimum of 3 years of experience; Level I trauma experience; at least 1 year of Level II trauma experience; previous travel experience; proficiency with da Vinci Xi and da Vinci 5 robotic systems; proficiency with robotic general, gynecologic, thoracic, and urologic specialties; ability to function independently in robotics, orthopedics, general, gynecologic, urologic, bariatric, otolaryngology, plastics, vascular, thoracic, and trauma procedures; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross (ARC).
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience scrubbing and circulating; familiarity with a broad range of general, orthopedic, vascular, thoracic, gynecologic, urologic, bariatric, plastics, and robotic procedures; Epic charting experience.
• Schedule: Day shifts, 10 hours per shift, 40 hours per week.
• Additional Information: The role supports a general Operating Room and excludes open-heart and neurosurgical procedures. Call coverage includes 23 call shifts within a six-week schedule, with a 30-minute response requirement. Weekend coverage includes 34 shifts within a six-week schedule, which may occur during day, evening, or night hours. Holiday coverage may be required. The position may involve care for patients across neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric populations.
