Job Summary

Intensive Care Unit, Nights. The position provides critical care nursing support in a 21-bed intensive care setting, caring for patients with complex conditions including acute respiratory distress syndrome, pneumonia, withdrawal, and cardiogenic shock. The role requires flexibility with unit scheduling, weekend coverage, and holiday availability.

Job Details

Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., with a minimum of 36 hours per week. No block schedule is offered.
Required Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of experience in intensive care nursing; prior travel experience; Tennessee license or compact license on file at submission; Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and National Institutes of Health (NIH) certifications.
Additional Information: Orientation is scheduled for 11/16, 11/30, 12/07, or 12/14, with no orientation during the week of 11/23. Availability to work at least 2 of 3 holidays is required. The unit determines the schedule, and flexibility is required to meet staffing needs. Patient ratios are 12. Navy scrubs are required.
