Description
Job Summary
Registered Nurse, Emergency Room, Naperville, IL. The position provides emergency care during evening shifts in a fast-paced clinical setting. Candidates must hold the required nursing certifications, have prior travel and/or per diem experience, and demonstrate proficiency with Epic.
Job Details
- Schedule: Evening shifts are 12 hours, scheduled from 3:00 p.m. to 3:00 a.m., with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of experience with previous travel and/or per diem assignments
- Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications
- Epic experience
- Active license verification; temporary licenses are accepted when the candidate is actively obtaining a permanent license and can provide confirmation of the permanent license application
- Preferred Qualifications: At least 4 years of experience with previous travel and/or per diem assignments.
- Additional Information:
- Rotating weekend coverage is required.
- Holiday coverage may be required according to department scheduling, including at least three holidays between Thanksgiving and New Year's Day.
- No on-call requirement.
- Orientation includes two 12-hour shifts.
