Job Summary

Registered Nurse, Emergency Room Elmhurst, IL. This position supports emergency care services on a 12-hour night shift schedule. The assignment is expected to last 812 weeks, with the possibility of extension, and requires previous travel and/or per diem nursing experience.

Job Details

• Schedule: Night shifts from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., 12 hours per shift, 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications:
  • Illinois Registered Nurse license
  • Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience with previous travel and/or per diem experience
  • Epic experience
• Preferred Qualifications: Minimum of 5 years of experience with previous travel and/or per diem experience.
• Additional Information:
  • Every third weekend is required, including Friday and Saturday night shifts.
  • Holiday coverage is required.
  • The assignment is 812 weeks, with the possibility of extension.
  • Orientation consists of approximately 23 shifts.
  • Floating and on-call responsibilities are not required.
  • Temporary licenses may be accepted while a permanent Illinois license application is in progress.
