Job Summary

Registered Nurse, Emergency Room, Elmhurst, IL. This position provides emergency nursing care in a fast-paced clinical setting during evening and overnight shifts. The assignment is scheduled for 812 weeks, with potential extension, and includes weekend and holiday coverage.

Job Details

• Schedule: 3:00 p.m.3:00 a.m. shifts, 12 hours per shift, 36 hours per week; every third weekend and holidays required.
• Required Qualifications: Illinois Registered Nurse license; Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications; at least 2 years of experience with previous travel and/or per diem assignments.
• Preferred Qualifications: At least 5 years of experience with previous travel and/or per diem assignments.
• Additional Information:
  • Orientation consists of 23 shifts.
  • The assignment length is 812 weeks, with potential extension.
  • Emergency department nursing experience is required.
  • Required submission materials include a resume, two professional references, a skills checklist, and certification and license verification.
  • Temporary Illinois licenses may be accepted while a permanent license application is in process.
