Job Summary

Registered Nurse, Cardiac Cath Lab. The role supports cardiac and interventional radiology procedures in an acute care setting and requires scrub-trained nursing skills. The position includes weekday day shifts, required call coverage, and participation in rotating holiday call assignments.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Active nursing license eligible for submission; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA); Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA); National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification; minimum of 2 years of cardiac catheterization laboratory experience; scrub experience required, with circulating-only experience not sufficient.
• Schedule: Day shifts, 10 hours per shift, minimum 40 hours per week; generally Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM5:00 PM, with required call coverage.
• Additional Information: Supports approximately 8 cases per day, including cardiac invasive procedures and peripheral, carotid, arteriovenous graft, endovascular aneurysm repair, diagnostic, and interventional procedures. Scrub responsibilities are required for cardiac catheterization laboratory and interventional radiology cases. Call coverage is required, including at least every other weekend from Friday at 3:30 PM through Monday at 7:00 AM, rotating holiday call, and an expected response time of 30 minutes. The role does not require floating. Orientation generally consists of 12 shifts based on skill level.
