Job Details

• Certifications: BLS (AHA), active Iowa nursing license or multistate license required.
• Education Requirements: Current nursing licensure; minimum of 24 months current/recent operating room experience, including Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) experience.
• Location Requirements: Iowa license required.
• Years of Experience: 0.0 years minimum, with a preference for at least 24 months of recent experience in operating room and CVOR settings.
• Schedule: Days shift, 10-hour shifts, minimum 40 hours per week.
• Experience required: Cardiovascular OR / CVOR experience in cardiac, vascular, and thoracic surgery, along with general operating room circulating experience.
• Additional information: The role involves floating across multiple campuses, including Iowa Methodist MC and Iowa Lutheran, with extensive training in cardiac, vascular, and general cases; scrub experience including open heart surgery is required; prior travel experience within the last 15 months is a necessity.
• Submission requirements: Valid drivers license, professional references from within the last 24 months, and proof of BLS certification.
