Job Summary

Surgical Technologist, Operating Room. This 13-week assignment supports procedures in the Endoscopy Suite and Operating Room for an experienced traveler with extensive complex gastrointestinal experience. The role requires proficiency in complex endoscopy cases, sterile technique, surgical equipment management, and automatic high-level endoscope disinfection using Olympus OER.

Job Details

• Schedule: 12-hour day shifts from 6:45 a.m. to 7:15 p.m., with variable MondayFriday scheduling and a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED) credential
  • Graduation from a surgical technologist program
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience scrubbing complex endoscopy cases
  • Experience with endoscope reprocessing through automatic high-level disinfection processes using Olympus OER
• Additional Information:
  • Provides basic instruments and sterile technique support for procedures in the Endoscopy Suite and Operating Room.
  • Responsible for the care, handling, and maintenance of surgical equipment.
  • Call is required, including weekends.
  • One holiday call shift is required if Christmas Eve or Christmas Day falls during the assignment.
  • Hospital-laundered scrubs are provided.
