Job Summary

Registered Nurse, Gastroenterology Laboratory. This position supports gastrointestinal laboratory procedures, including patient admission, Phase II recovery, and procedural room support when qualified. The role requires documented recovery experience and collaboration across procedural care settings.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Active or temporary Illinois Registered Nurse license; Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification; minimum of 2 years of experience.
• Schedule: Day shift with 8-hour shifts, varying start times between 7:30 a.m. and 9:00 a.m.; 40 hours per week.
• Responsibilities: Admit patients, recover patients in Phase II, and support the procedure room when qualified. Experience in gastrointestinal laboratory, post-anesthesia care unit, telemetry, or procedural settings is applicable.
• Additional Information: Documented recovery experience is required. An electrocardiogram (EKG) assessment with a score of 80% or higher is required. Orientation begins on a Monday day shift and includes approximately 68 hours of required testing and modules.
• Assignment Dates: 11/08/2026 through 01/03/2027.
