Description
Job Summary
Registered Nurse, Medical Surgical With Telemetry. The Registered Nurse delivers coordinated nursing care to assigned patients using established standards of care and the nursing process. The role also supervises assigned nursing staff, coordinates interdisciplinary care, and applies professional judgment to promote safe, effective patient outcomes.
Job Details
- Schedule: Day shift, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice; Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor; American Heart Association (AHA)-Basic Life Support (BLS) or American Red Cross (ARC)-Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN); acute care facility experience.
- Additional Information: Responsibilities include assessing patients, developing and implementing care plans, evaluating outcomes, coordinating care with patients, families, and healthcare providers, providing health education, participating in discharge planning, and appropriately delegating tasks to members of the healthcare team. Electronic health record system experience is required. Required vaccinations must be maintained in accordance with applicable employment policies, subject to medical and religious exemptions where applicable.
