Job Summary

Registered Nurse, Emergency Room. This acute-care role supports emergency department services on a night schedule and requires experience caring for pediatric emergency patients. The position involves cardiac monitoring and working with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:810.

Job Details

Required Qualifications: New York-licensed Registered Nurse (RN); minimum 2 years of emergency department experience; pediatric emergency department experience; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification; Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification; Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) certification.
Preferred Qualifications: Triage experience.
Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts from 12:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m., with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
Additional Information: Acute-care setting with a Trauma Level III designation. The Registered Nurse must be comfortable with nurse-to-patient ratios of 1:810 and competent in reading cardiac monitor strips.
