Job Summary

Registered Nurse, Operating Room. This position supports perioperative care during day shifts, with responsibility for both circulating and scrubbing procedures across orthopedic and other surgical specialties. The role requires strong orthopedic experience, airway management, aseptic technique, and the ability to support operational needs across the facility.

Job Details

Required Qualifications: Current California Registered Nurse license; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN); Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); minimum of 3 years of Operating Room experience; required travel experience; teaching hospital experience; demonstrated ability to circulate and scrub, particularly in orthopedic joint procedures; experience with orthopedic, Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT), ophthalmology, general, endoscopic and laparoscopic, gynecologic, plastics, and podiatric surgery; airway management and aseptic technique.
Schedule: Day shift, 10-hour shifts, minimum of 40 hours per week.
Additional Information: Strong orthopedic scrubbing experience is required. Clinical responsibilities include circulating for orthopedic joints, trauma, foot and ankle, hand and wrist, plastics, dilation and evacuation, gynecologic, and Ear, Nose, and Throat (ENT) procedures. Scrubbing experience includes orthopedic, arthroscopic, plastics, spine, and total joint replacement procedures. Resources may be reassigned to another department, unit, or facility as operationally needed when job specifications are met.
