Job Summary

Registered Nurse, Telemetry. This role provides specialized care for patients requiring cardiac and neurological monitoring during 12-hour day shifts. The assignment includes collaboration across like units, scheduled weekend and holiday coverage, and participation in orientation and clinical competency activities.

Job Details

• Schedule: Day shift, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of stroke or neurological nursing experience; current nursing license or temporary Illinois license with documented submission of a permanent license application; Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS); and successful completion of an electrocardiogram (EKG) test.
• Preferred Qualifications: At least 2 years of travel nursing experience.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information:
  • Assignment start date: 11/22/2026.
  • Assignment length: 13 weeks.
  • Weekend coverage is required every other weekend.
  • Holiday coverage is required as needed.
  • Orientation is scheduled every Monday, with the electrocardiogram (EKG) test completed on the first day.
  • The role may require floating to other like units, with the assigned nurse first to float when needed.
