Job Summary
Emergency Room, Lodi: Provides coordinated nursing care to individual patients or assigned patient groups according to established standards and the nursing process. The Registered Nurse supervises assigned nursing staff, coordinates multidisciplinary care, and applies critical thinking, professional judgment, and independent decision-making to promote safe, effective patient outcomes.
Job Details
- Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice; Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification; Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification; National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree; acute care facility experience.
- Additional Information: Responsibilities include collecting and analyzing patient data, developing and implementing individualized care plans, evaluating patient outcomes, coordinating care with patients, families, and healthcare providers, providing health education, participating in discharge planning, and appropriately delegating duties to members of the healthcare team. Required vaccinations may apply as a condition of employment, subject to applicable medical and religious exemptions.
