Job Summary
Clinical Nurse, Telemetry: Provides hands-on, evidence-based nursing care to patients while assessing needs, developing individualized care plans, implementing interventions, and evaluating outcomes. The role coordinates care with patients, families, and healthcare professionals; promotes education and recovery; and supports safe, compassionate, family-centered care.
Job Details
- Required Qualifications: Current California Registered Nurse (CA-RN) licensure; current American Heart Association (AHA) certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers; ability to communicate effectively in English.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited college or university.
- Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Responsibilities include performing comprehensive patient assessments; interpreting clinical data; identifying nursing diagnoses; developing, implementing, and evaluating individualized care plans; coordinating care with patients, families, and healthcare professionals; administering nursing and medical interventions safely; monitoring for adverse responses; providing patient and family education; activating emergency protocols when needed; prioritizing and delegating tasks appropriately; supporting patient and employee safety; contributing to team building and quality improvement; maintaining current nursing knowledge; and participating in staff education, professional development, and shared governance activities.
