Job Summary
Emergency Room position on the night shift. The role supports patients with cardiac, stroke, sepsis, respiratory, abdominal, mental health, and other acute conditions in a high-acuity emergency setting. Responsibilities include emergency assessment, patient care, telemetry monitoring, and collaboration with interdisciplinary clinical teams.
Job Details
- Required Qualifications: Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC), Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) or Emergency Nurses Pediatric Course (ENPC), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications; Washington or Compact license; minimum of 2 years of experience.
- Schedule: Night shifts from 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m., with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
- Assignment Dates: 11/16/202602/15/2027.
- Additional Information: The emergency department includes fast-track services, separate triage, designated inpatient holding beds, behavioral health treatment rooms, telemetry monitoring, and respiratory support equipment. Typical patient ratios are 1:3, or 1:4 for lower-acuity assignments. Weekend scheduling is based on department needs. Holiday coverage is required during November and December, with consideration for one of the three holidays when consistent with department demands. No call or standby requirement applies. Orientation includes one compliance day and one department-specific orientation day.
