Job Summary

Registered Nurse, Intensive Care Unit location not provided. The position supports critically ill patients during overnight shifts and accepts first-time travelers. Responsibilities include advanced intensive care nursing, continuous patient monitoring, ventilator care, infusion management, and management of multisystem organ dysfunction or failure.

Job Details

• Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: At least 1.5 years of experience; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications; a state or compact nursing license in hand at the time of submission.
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior charting system experience.
• Additional Information:
  • The unit accepts first-time travelers.
  • Experience with BiPAP/CPAP management, suctioning of endotracheal tubes and nasotracheal tubes, care of ventilated patients, arterial line management, dysrhythmia management and interpretation, central line care and management, cardiac and vasoactive drip titration, isolation precautions and personal protective equipment, arterial blood gas interpretation, continuous intravenous sedation, and care of patients with multisystem organ dysfunction or failure.
  • Core onboarding items and laboratory requirements must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing.
  • Modules are completed onsite during orientation.
