Job Summary

Labor and Delivery Department position providing care for high-risk obstetric patients across antepartum, postpartum, and delivery settings. The role supports patients with vaginal and cesarean deliveries, preeclampsia, diabetes, and late-preterm or hyperbilirubinemia-related needs, including magnesium sulfate postpartum care.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications; at least 3 years of labor and delivery experience; compact license in hand at submission.
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, 36 hours per week.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: Clinical responsibilities include care for high-risk obstetric patients, antepartum and postpartum care, vaginal and cesarean deliveries, and magnesium sulfate postpartum management. The role may support neonatal care within competency, including feeding, soothing, and changing babies. Patient populations include neonates, adolescents, and adults. Unit resources include respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, phototherapy, and breast pumps.
