Job Summary

Registered Nurse Operating Room Open Heart. This acute care position supports cardiovascular and other surgical service lines, including coronary artery bypass grafting, robotic procedures, valve procedures, vascular cases, and transcatheter aortic valve replacement. Responsibilities include circulating for surgical procedures, participating in weekday, weekend, and holiday call coverage, and responding to call assignments within 30 minutes.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA); minimum of 3 years of experience; active license eligible for submission; operating room nursing experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Scrubbing experience.
• Schedule: Day shift, 6:30 a.m.3:00 p.m., 8 hours per shift, 40 hours per week; weekday, weekend, and possible holiday call responsibilities.
• Additional Information: Responsibilities include circulating for cardiovascular and other service-line procedures, including coronary artery bypass grafting, robotic coronary artery bypass grafting and lung procedures, valve procedures, femoral-popliteal procedures, transcatheter aortic valve replacement, endovascular aneurysm repair, and other vascular cases. Call response time is 30 minutes. Staffing support includes charge nurses and patient care assistants.
