Job Summary

Long Term Care Registered Nurse provides skilled nursing care for residents in a post-acute, long-term care setting. Responsibilities include serving as charge nurse, administering medications, performing wound care, and supporting residents with conditions such as heart disease, diabetes, and dementia.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; two years of Long Term Care experience.
• Schedule: Night shifts consisting of 12-hour shifts from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: Responsibilities include serving as charge nurse, passing medications, and performing wound care. The assignment includes every-other-weekend requirements, every-other-major-holiday requirements, and two to three shifts of unit-specific orientation. The nurse-to-resident ratio is approximately 1:19 during night shifts. No floating is required.
