Job Summary

Registered Nurse Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Oak Lawn and Park Ridge, Illinois. This position provides specialized care for premature infants and unstable newborns requiring medical or surgical intervention. The role supports a neonatal intensive care setting with a 12-hour night schedule and assignments across both locations.

Job Details

Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week; weekend rotation every third weekend.
Assignment Dates: 11/09/202602/06/2027.
Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse; minimum of 1.5 years of experience; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification; experience caring for premature infants and unstable newborns; proficiency with ventilators, including high-frequency oscillatory ventilation (HFOV), tracheostomies, chest tubes, inhaled nitric oxide, umbilical and arterial lines, intravenous drips, nasogastric tubes, gastrostomy tubes, and enteral feeding.
Additional Information: Typical patient assignments are one registered nurse to two patients. The role includes collaboration with respiratory therapy and neonatology coverage available around the clock. A one-shift unit orientation is provided. Scrubs are provided for infection prevention.
