Job Summary

Surgical Technician | Surgical Technician/Operating Room Technician | Jasper

The Surgical Technician supports operating room procedures across a range of specialties, including total joints, spine, general surgery, urology, gynecology, orthopedics, and ear, nose, and throat procedures. This 13-week contract requires strong assessment and critical-thinking skills, resilience, adaptability, and the ability to support approximately 350400 cases per month.

Job Details

• Schedule: Day shift, 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Certified Surgical Technologist certification; Associate Degree or certificate; minimum of 2 years of experience; strong assessment and critical-thinking skills; demonstrated ability to manage change effectively.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with total joint procedures, robotic-assisted procedures, spine, general surgery, urology, gynecology, orthopedics, and ear, nose, and throat procedures.
• Additional Information: Weekend and holiday participation is required. On-call coverage is required, including a 30-minute callback expectation and holiday call rotation. Scrubs are provided. The role supports six operating rooms and requires a resilient, hardworking, and adaptable professional.
