Job Summary

Labor and Delivery Department This nursing position supports care for high-risk obstetric patients in an acute care setting. The role involves comprehensive assessments, patient examinations, and care for patients undergoing cesarean sections and antepartum management in a fast-paced environment.

Job Details

• Required Qualifications: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN); active license eligible for submission; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS) through the American Heart Association (AHA), and Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications; at least 2 years of high-risk obstetric nursing experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Registered NurseCertified (RN-C) certification preferred.
• Schedule: Day shift, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week; every third weekend, including three weekend shifts in a four-week period.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information: The role supports care for high-risk obstetric patients, low-risk antepartum patients, patients undergoing cesarean sections, and patients requiring magnesium therapy. Responsibilities include performing patient examinations and comprehensive assessments. The position requires a strong ability to work in a fast-paced environment and provide customer-focused care. Orientation consists of approximately two to three shifts.
