Job Summary

Registered Nurse, Progressive Care Unit. The registered nurse provides comprehensive care across progressive care, telemetry, and medical-surgical areas while flexing between departments as needed. Responsibilities include patient education, safety management, infection prevention, clinical documentation, equipment operation, care coordination, and timely communication of patient status.

Job Details

• Schedule: Day shift, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week.
• Assignment Dates: 11/30/202603/01/2027.
• Required Qualifications: Active Washington nursing license; experience in progressive care, telemetry, and medical-surgical areas; willingness to flex between departments as needed.
• Additional Information: Provides patient education using appropriate teaching methods; promotes patient safety through preventative measures and proper restraint procedures; operates and troubleshoots equipment; follows infection control, isolation, and standard precaution procedures; maintains accurate documentation of patient status, nursing interventions, patient responses, and charges; completes physician orders and 24-hour order checks as assigned; provides complete shift reports and interdepartmental communication; reports critical laboratory values promptly; and maintains emergency carts, patient rooms, and general supplies.
