Job Summary
Cardiac Cath Lab Registered Nurse. The position provides comprehensive nursing care through patient assessment, care planning, implementation, evaluation, documentation, and coordination with the healthcare team. The role supports safe, evidence-based care for patients across physical, developmental, psychosocial, cultural, and educational needs.
Job Details
- Required Qualifications: Current, valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice, temporary or interim RN license in the state of practice, or compact RN licensure; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification; Wyoming Department of Family Services (WY DFS) certification; a minimum of one year of experience in an acute care hospital setting for travel acute care positions, including experience within the past 12 months as an RN in the specialty area; ability to maintain clinical performance competencies through annual validations.
- Preferred Qualifications: Bachelors degree, professional certification, and additional related education or experience.
- Schedule: Day shifts consisting of 10 hours per shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week.
- Additional Information: Experience in scrubbing is required. Responsibilities include assessing patient needs, developing and revising individualized plans of care, providing direct patient care, coordinating and supervising healthcare team activities, evaluating patient responses, documenting care, supporting patient and family education, and promoting quality and safety initiatives. Teal scrubs are required.
