Description
Job Summary
Surgical Technician/Operating Room Technician (ORT), location not specified. This position supports surgical services across orthopedic, general, neurological, thoracic, vascular, gynecological, urological, robotic, and otolaryngological procedures. The role includes scheduled day shifts, required weekend coverage, and on-call participation.
Job Details
- Schedule: Four 10-hour day shifts per week, totaling 40 hours per week; weekend shifts and up to five on-call shifts per month may be required.
- Required Qualifications:
- At least 2 years of surgical technician experience
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Washington state license
- Experience supporting orthopedic, general, neurological, thoracic, vascular, gynecological, urological, robotic, and otolaryngological procedures
- Preferred Qualifications:
- Robotic surgery experience, including da Vinci or Mako systems
- Experience with the Electronic Medical Record (EMR) system Epic
- Additional Information:
- Start date: 11/30/2026
- Patient population includes adults and geriatric patients
- Daily census ranges from 13 to 18 patients
- Surgical competencies may include arthroscopy, spinal fusion, total hip replacement, total knee replacement, craniotomy, vascular procedures, laparoscopic procedures, endoscopic procedures, thoracic surgery, gynecological surgery, urological surgery, and instrument processing
