Description
Job Summary
Operating Room position supporting a surgical department with approximately nine suites and 1030 cases per day. The role involves supporting general, gynecological, orthopedic, urological, ear, nose, and throat, vascular, neurological, head and neck, pain block, and electroconvulsive therapy cases. The position includes weekday and weekend call responsibilities.
Job Details
- Assignment Dates: 11/16/202602/15/2027
- Schedule: Four 10-hour day shifts from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with possible 6:30 a.m. start times based on case needs; 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification and a minimum of 2 years of experience with the listed surgical cases.
- Additional Information: Responsibilities may include assisting with call coverage and scrubbing when required. Call coverage includes six call days per four-week schedule period, with weeknight call from 5:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. and weekend call from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. the following day. Holiday call may be assigned when applicable. A 30-minute call response time is required. Department orientation is one week. Surgical attire is supplied, and operating room attire standards include no nail polish for scrubbed personnel and limited jewelry.
