Job Summary

Medical Surgical Floor Arlington, Texas: The position supports patient care on a fast-paced medical-surgical unit serving post-surgical and acute care patients. Responsibilities include providing clinical care, managing pain, and supporting patients requiring Clinical Institute Withdrawal Assessment (CIWA) monitoring.

Job Details

Schedule: Day shift, 12-hour shifts, minimum 36 hours per week.
Assignment Dates: 11/30/2026 through 03/01/2027.
Required Qualifications: Registered Nurse with medical-surgical or acute care experience; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
Preferred Qualifications: Previous medical-surgical or acute care experience.
Additional Information: The unit provides care for post-surgical patients, including cholecystectomy and cystoscopy with stent placement, as well as patients requiring pain management and Clinical Institute Withdrawal Assessment (CIWA) monitoring. Typical patient ratios are 6:1. Available equipment includes Hoyer lifts, Sara Steady devices, and bladder scanners. A fast-paced, outgoing, and high-energy professional is well suited for the unit.
