Job Summary
Registered Nurse, Medical-Surgical Surgery, Bridgeport, CT. The position supports general surgery procedures in an Operating Room (OR) setting and requires experience across multiple surgical specialties. The role includes weekday and occasional weekend responsibilities, along with scheduled on-call coverage.
Job Details
- Required Qualifications: Experience with general surgery, robotics, urology, ear, nose and throat (ENT), neurological surgery, plastics, gynecology (GYN), and orthopedic procedures; experience with Da Vinci and Mako robotics; orthopedic experience with total knee and total hip replacements using anterior and posterior approaches; neurological experience with cervical fusion and lumbar laminectomy; plastics experience with abdominoplasty and breast augmentation.
- Schedule: Day shift, 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week; primarily 6:30 AM5:00 PM, with approximately 30% of shifts scheduled from 1:00 PM11:30 PM based on department needs.
- Additional Information: Occasional weekend work is required. On-call coverage includes six weekday call shifts and six weekend call shifts within a six-week schedule. Two openings are available. Assignment dates are 11/30/2026 through 02/28/2027.
