Job Summary
Registered Nurse, Operating Room Open Heart. The position supports cardiovascular patients before, during, and after surgical procedures in a hybrid cardiac catheterization laboratory setting. The registered nurse must be able to scrub and circulate during high-volume cardiovascular operating room procedures.
Job Details
- Schedule: Day shift, 10-hour shifts, 40 hours per week.
- Required Qualifications:
- Current Colorado registered nurse license or compact license valid for practice in Colorado.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications through the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Minimum of 2 years of high-volume intraoperative cardiovascular operating room registered nurse experience.
- Current influenza vaccination; no exemptions.
- Ability to scrub and circulate for cardiovascular operating room procedures.
- Additional Information:
- The position is based in a hybrid cardiac catheterization laboratory rather than a general operating room.
- Responsibilities include caring for cardiovascular patients before, during, and after surgical procedures.
- Submission materials include a current registered nurse license, American Heart Association Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support certifications, resume, and proof of influenza vaccination.
