Job Summary

Registered Nurse, Intensive Care Unit. This float-pool role supports adult and geriatric critical care patients across intensive care and lower-acuity units. The position requires a flexible clinician who can manage a 1:2 patient ratio, work night shifts, and support weekend and holiday coverage needs.

Job Details

• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: At least 1 year of experience; current compact license in hand at submission; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications; Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) certification; required charting system experience.
• Preferred Qualifications: Trauma Level I or Trauma Level II experience.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
• Additional Information:
  • Float assignments may include different intensive care units and lower-acuity units, including telemetry.
  • Patient population includes adults and geriatric patients.
  • Typical patient ratio is 1:2.
  • Weekend coverage requires at least every other weekend and may exceed that frequency to meet unit needs.
  • The clinician must be available to work 3 of 5 major holidays.
  • Scheduling and time-off requests must be submitted at the time of application.
  • First-time travelers are accepted.
  • No on-call requirement is listed.
  • Compact license must be in hand at submission.
