Job Summary

Registered Nurse, Intensive Care Unit, Roaring Spring, Pennsylvania. This travel position provides critical care nursing services for adult and geriatric patients in an intensive care setting. The role includes caring for patients with complex conditions such as diabetic ketoacidosis, ST-elevation myocardial infarction, cerebrovascular accident, and respiratory failure.

Job Details

Schedule: Night shift, 12-hour shifts, 36 hours per week, including every other weekend; no call requirements.
Assignment Dates: 11/23/202602/06/2027.
Required Qualifications: Active Pennsylvania nursing license; Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification; Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; National Institute of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification; minimum of 2 years of experience; intensive care unit experience; Electronic Medical Record (EPIC) experience.
Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
Float: Float rotation may be required.
Additional Information: Patient population includes adult and geriatric patients. Patient ratios range from 1:4 depending on patient status. Clinical equipment includes ventilators, intra-aortic balloon pumps, arterial lines, and continuous positive airway pressure devices. Common diagnoses and treatments include diabetic ketoacidosis, ST-elevation myocardial infarction, cerebrovascular accident, and respiratory failure.
